SUNDAY SCHOOL RALLY RECORDS BIG SUCCESS IN TOBIN

Sunday School rally records big success in Tobin. The Sunday School children of Tobin Parish experienced a day of immense joy and excitement as they gathered at PCC Njavnyuy on Sunday, January 12, 3025, for their first Sunday School Rally in many years. The long-awaited event proved to be a resounding success, filled with engaging activities and spiritual enrichment.

The rally featured a range of competitions designed to test the children’s knowledge and understanding of the Bible. The Bible Quiz challenged their familiarity with scripture, while the Brain Trust encouraged critical thinking and problem-solving skills. These activities not only provided a fun and competitive element but also reinforced their learning and deepened their connection to the stories and teachings of the Bible.

The following day, during the divine service on Sunday, January 13, 3025, Rev. Arioh Daniels delivered a powerful sermon based on Exodus 3:1-10, the passage that served as the foundation for the rally’s theme: “God Protects His People.” Rev. Daniels drew a compelling parallel between Moses’s mother’s actions in protecting his life and the responsibility of parents to safeguard the present and future of their own children. He extended this analogy to the future of the PCC, emphasizing the importance of nurturing and guiding the younger generation, who represent the future of the church.

The rally was filled with memorable moments. The children listened attentively to the message from the National Sunday School Officer, gaining a broader perspective on the Sunday School ministry. Memorization of Bible verses further solidified their understanding of scripture. Fundraising efforts demonstrated the community’s commitment to supporting the Sunday School program. Captivating choral music and lively traditional dances, performed with enthusiasm by the children, added a vibrant cultural dimension to the event, showcasing their talents and celebrating their heritage.

A particularly heartwarming moment came at the end of the rally when the Sunday School Superintendent for Tobin generously gifted each of the hundreds of children with pens and pencils. This thoughtful gesture served as a token of appreciation for their participation and a reminder of the importance of learning and education.

As the children made their way home, they were buzzing with excitement, eager to share their experiences with their families and friends. The day was filled with joy, learning, and spiritual growth, leaving a lasting impression on the children and strengthening their connection to their faith and their church community, all to the glory of God.
