Annual Sunday School Rally at PC Bokwango – Buea
The vibrant sounds of children’s laughter and uplifting hymns filled the air at P.C Bokwango as the Sunday Schools of Small Soppo Parish gathered for their annual rally. Six out of the eight groups within the parish converged on the church grounds, united in their celebration of faith and fellowship.
The rally was held under the inspiring theme, “Let the little children come to me, do not stop them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God,” drawn from Mark 10:14. This powerful message served as a guiding principle for the day’s festivities, emphasizing the importance of nurturing the faith of the young disciples.
Rev. Adonganim Moris, the Parish Pastor of PC Bokwango, seized the opportunity to address the gathering, urging parents to actively encourage their children’s involvement in church activities. He emphasized the importance of living exemplary Christian lives, recognizing that children learn by observing the actions of their parents.
The rally was a vibrant showcase of the children’s talents and creativity. The day was filled with exciting activities, including challenging Bible quizzes that tested their biblical knowledge, intellectually stimulating Brain Trust competitions, and melodious singing performances that filled the air with joyful hymns. The children also showcased their artistic talents through captivating dance and ballet performances, captivating the audience with their grace and energy.
The event was further graced by the presence of Rev. Ndonwi Peter, the esteemed Presbyterial Treasurer for Fako North, who joined in the celebration and offered words of encouragement to the young disciples.
