Presbyterian Youths in Azire Shine on Dedicated Sunday Celebration. The event served as a powerful showcase of the next generation’s dedication to the church, featuring an array of performances including choral singing, instrumental music, and creative arts. The atmosphere was charged with energy as the youths took center stage, proving that the future of the mission is in capable hands.
A Call for Fertile Hearts
The spiritual highlight of the service was the sermon delivered by Foncham Blissful, a dedicated member of the Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF). Drawing inspiration from the Parable of the Sower in Matthew 13:1–9 and 18–23, Blissful spoke on the poignant theme: “Let your heart be fertile for God’s work.”
During the exhortation, Blissful challenged his peers and the wider congregation to examine the “soil” of their spiritual lives. He emphasized that being a “good seed” isn’t an accident but a result of a conscious decision.
“To produce a harvest for the Kingdom, we must move beyond casual faith,” Blissful remarked. “It requires a deliberate commitment to meditate regularly on the Word of God, ensuring our hearts remain receptive to His instructions amidst the distractions of the modern world.”

Investing in the Future
Beyond the spiritual nourishment and artistic displays, the day carried a practical mission. The service included a dedicated fundraising segment aimed at bolstering the church’s youth initiatives. The proceeds are earmarked for:
• Supporting the local Youth Group and its outreach programs.
• Funding the broader CYF movement activities.
• Enhancing general youth work and mentorship projects within the Mezam South Presbytery.
The leadership of PC Azire noted that such celebrations are vital for the holistic growth of young Christians, providing them with a platform to lead and a community that invests in their potential. As the service concluded, there was a palpable sense of renewal, with many young attendees expressing a fresh commitment to both their personal faith and their service to the church.
